Information Growth & Diffusion Simulation (Java Applet)

Now launching Information Growth & Diffusion Simulator Java Applet.

This may take up to 3-5 minutes assuming you have the following prerequisites:

You have the JRE Plug-in (version 1.4.0 or higher) from Sun. The plugin comes bundled with the Java Run-Time Environment. If you do not have Java Plugin, and this page does not automatically begin an installation, please click here to install manually.

You have an online connection speed of at least 28 Kbps.

Your local machine processor speed is over 300 Mhz.

When the applet launches, it should give a security warning. "Granting the session" allows you to save your work to your hard drive, but it is not required to successfully run the simulation. If you deny the session but wish to grant it later -- you must shut down your browser entirely before restarting.

If no security warning appears, this might indicate that you do not have the most recent version of Java Plug-in. This may prevent the save/load capability from functioning. The most recent Plug-in can be downloaded from the Sun website.
